The woman on the left is a PERFECT example of why you should not wear tapered pants.

The outfit (if you can call it that) that I saw today was in need of being blogged about. I WISH I had had my camera because all I would have had to do is post the picture--no words would have been necessary.
A teal green, velour, leisure/lounging suit (meaning, velvet sweatpants and matching hoodie) with high heeled (stiletto) black boots. Oh, and did I mention that the pants were way too short with the boots? (that was the LEAST of her problems, though) It was TERRIBLE! One should NOT wear a leisure/lounging suit in public--unless you just got out of the gym and had to make a quick pit-stop on the way home. And one should certainly NOT pair the aforementioned leisure suit with high heeled boots!! Even J-Lo circa 2004 had trouble pulling off a leisure suit with flashy shoes.

I am SUPER excited about this which will be airing on HSN (that's channel 240 if you're a Direct TV customer)tomorrow night--Tuesday, November 17th.
I had the pleasure of attending the Badgley Mischka Spring 2009 and Spring 2010 Fashion Shows at Fashion Week in NYC over the past 2 years. During my first experience I also had the pleasure of visiting with Mark (Badgley) and James (Mischka) in their NYC show room for the morning during my trip. SUCH nice guys, beautiful designs, and a very chic show room. I am excited for them as they start this new venture targeted toward the every-day, fashionable woman!

That I don't like Dansko shoes for women...specfically, Dansko clogs. (see this to refresh your memory)
Well, the other day we were celebrating C's birthday at Monkey Joe's (indoor bounce houses)and one requirement is that you have to take your shoes off and just wear socks. They provide wire shelves to put your shoes in. When it was time to leave and I was putting my shoes on (sporty, cute Skechers in case you're wondering)I spied a pair of brown Danskos on the shelf beside my shoes. The thought entered my mind to just take the shoes and throw them away. After all, I'd be doing the owner a favor, right? But, my conscience got the better of me and I did nothing.
